Got an email on the 2nd november about updating the review on My Simple LogBook, however the email appeared in spam for some reason o.O

Anyway i am mentioning them here because they are one of the few sites reviewing MSLB, tests it, write a review by hand and emails me about the review.

I just finished reading their review and i like the fact they dont copy and paste what i have written about the program and instead use their own words to describe it along with a video showing some of its key functions.
I am expressing my thanks to them for such a great review, this is their short describtion of MSLB v2.7 editor team:
"Are you looking for a convenient way to write work logs or to keep diaries? My Simple LogBook is a great application designed just for that. This simple and intuitive piece of software will prove to be the quick and easy solution that you desired."

Check out their review at:
PS: they gave MSLB a rating of 5 out of 5 stars! :D

I read and watched Softoxi's review. Impressive. I've looked at your pages a few times, and wondered if MSLB would be any good for me. The video seems to indicate that it would work just fine for keeping notes on various pieces of equipment. (I'm a maintenance man at a manufacturing facility.)

I'm going to download it, and see how it works!

Tell me how it works out for you or if you have any suggestions :)

First impressions are that MSLB is a nice GUI to plain text files - which is what I was looking for.

Request - would it be possible for you to add to the search facility _colouring_ of the instances of the search word?

(I was searching for "table"; MSLB found "portable" & it took me some time to spot the unexpected match)

i will see what i can do, right now i have another priority which is to get a new job, but thanks for the suggestion :)

hopefully it is something i can achieve :) (im no pro at c++ hehe)

I love MSLB, have been using 2.7 for almost a year, but something must have screwed with the coding, The search field always returns results from the default search range regardless of the dates specified and some searches just randomly skip over exact matches. Prehaps the gods are angry, I have afterall only just visited your website. Im tryin 2.8 now, thxs a shed load :)

Please tell me if version 2.8 have the same issue or not and i will look into it.
